Legacy Type movement setting for controller users question

That sounds extremely difficult to play a monk with 1 hand heh, like you said you should see a cursor on his screen when he stops moving the camera. He is also using 1 extended cross hotbar which requires both hands to perform (Holding down both L2+R2). I Believe he is doing what i linked above or somethan similar, in the link above it shows you how to re-map keyboard controls onto your gamepad and in this case re-mapped strafe keys onto it (L1= strafe left, R1= strafe right). This monk also only plays with 1 cross hotbar and 1 extended so he has no need for his L1 or R1 buttons. However if thats the case who's to say he didnt remap both L2+R2 to somethan else hah it's a mystery.

You don't have to be constantly using the mouse. All you do is use the mouse when you want to change camera angle. Nothing more nothing less. Additionally the mouse can be used to help with selecting targets or for using the <mo> syntax in a macro (but that is more useful on healers than anything else). Point is it is the most likely explanation for what is going on in that video.

That said the remapping of buttons is also a likely possibility, but one that is potentially annoying to do. But knowing the Japanese (I am assuming he is Japanese) and the way they seem to like remapping things like that, then I wouldn't be totally surprised if that is what has happened here.

If anyone has any debate over whether this is even Legacy settings fast forward to 2:46:56 where you can clearly get a shot of him turning his camera towards his party without his character facing them which is not possible on standard controls.

Under standard controls, left mouse button turns the camera without turning the character, right mouse button turns both character and camera. Not trying to argue that he's using Standard. Just letting you know you can do that.
