I know this has been brought up before about auto attack based jobs missing out on dps using this setting because of lack of strafing and the general reply and answers are "learn to use target lock". However earlier today i found a Japanese player on twitch.tv doing final coil who was using a controller with Legacy Type movement settings yet clearly strafing without target lock? I'll link the past broadcast so you can see for yourself but it has left me very confused and would like to know if anyone has the answer to how this is possible cause im sure it's helpful information for anyone using this setting with a controller. WARNING! the link contains spoilers for final coil and takes place in turn 13 the last turn so dont click if your worried bout that stuff.

I believe a simple fix for this issue could be a tweak to the character config settings->control settings->target settings-> "Automatically face target when using action." When applied this only faces your target if the skill has NOT been used. Once you use an action and you press any skill or the next in your combo you will not face the target if it's on cooldown. If square-enix were to simply change this so if a player is pressing or mashing a skill regardless of being used or on cooldown you will keep facing your target.
