There's a difference between not being able to do something and not wanting to do something. Making thing easier only encourage the lazy generation behaviors

The Atma grind hasn't been made easier. It was never difficult to begin with. It's simply been made more equitable. The Animus/Novus/Nexus grinds are the same for all players: put in one unit of effort, and you're rewarded with one unit of progress. The more effort you put in, the faster you'll have your weapon. The Atma grind was fundamentally different for all players: put in one unit of effort, and there is a low chance you will be rewarded with one unit of progress. So even if two players put the same amount of effort in -- let's say 12 hours each -- one player can walk away with 12 Atmas, and the other can walk away with zero. How anyone can defend this system is beyond me.

But there's another thing to consider here. Atma weapons have the exact same stats as Zenith weapons. So after doing the Atma grind, you haven't earned a new weapon -- You've simply earned the right to begin the upgrade process, which is the real grind. Why do we need the RNG to block access to this?
