It'd actually be neat if we had the "Heirloom" type equipment WoW had. Gear you don't have to replace till you're at 50, levels up with you, and gives you a combined exp bonus per piece you wear.

For people just starting out in wow they have 100 levels to grind through to catch up to end game. Equipment to help people level up is no big deal, it just speeds up the worst part of MMOs.

Yes, but. leveling too fast means that some people can get confused as to what quests are really the main story, and what aren't. I know some people still don't know what quests are main scenario and what aren't. I also know that some people think they can't have more than one job crystal. Those latter people will hit level 30 then get all their other classes to level 30 before they actually choose a job.

That's just people not reading the tutorials, which explain all of that. So I can't feel too much pity about that.Yes, but. leveling too fast means that some people can get confused as to what quests are really the main story, and what aren't. Okay fine. The armor will then make it so people skip all the cutscenes and not read anything. This game is meant to focus on the lore, and story, not skipping everything and immediately getting to end-game. Some things you just can't re-watch in the unending journey either.

if you can get 10 levels on the night of release of an expansion pack(and i've seen it), i don't think 100 levels are all that hard to get from scratch.
WoW is for self-entitled children who want everything immediately.
Skipping 90 levels is why there are so many bad WoW players now.

This reminds me of "Legacy" Armor in Free to plays, and is often shunned upon because it's often a cop-out to actual armor designs and modeling. I doubt the developers want to deal with that kind of thing. Adding this kind of armor would make all the other armor useless pretty much, as this "armor" would look cool off the bat, and you'd never need to roll on stuff like Plundered set in Sastasha, which you can sell for money. Are you also trying to put crafters out of a job, and make armor prices even higher?

I'd personally vote to not have any more of WoW's nonsense to come into this game. It's ideas like that nonsense "heirloom" system that turn modern gamers into what they are - lazy, entitled, and impatient.
