cannibal fish?

I have been trying to catch a Ninja Betta.

I have tried with the caged fly bait and the Floating minnow.

I have cough allot of Assassin Betta HQ and went for the mooch. After the mooch I end up catching another Assassin Betta.

This doesn't seem correct...

Fish can definitely be cannabalistic, but that's usually larger fish eating smaller fish. But, look at those sizes, that's impossible! lol

Plus it says mooch to land an even bigger fish. Then a fish 30% smaller takes the bigger fish as bait? Wat.

When 'mooching' in real life, you don't always use a whole fish, for example, you might just cut the tail end off and throw that in. So you could end up catching a smaller fish than you started out with, as long as its big enough to eat the tail!

Although when it says "You recast your line with the fish still hooked", it doesn't mention anything about cutting the fish up first... but I guess you have to use your imagination!

All but one of my Ninja Bettas were caught with a single Assassin Betta mooch. The lone standout being: AMFF > Assassin > Assassin > Assassin > Assassin > Ninja. Kinda of a pain in the butt that this can happen, but I suppose this is the only thing making the fish "tough" to catch. Used midgebasket bait for every catch, btw. Good luck to ya.
