    One thing to think about is they could EASILY have tossed housing items in the cash shop, but they haven't. It's almost strange, really, as most housing items are the ultimate in aesthetics: you can't even interact with them other than sitting/standing on them.
    maybe they will in the future, though. But i doubt they'd put something that serves an important function in there.
    SE, or at least FFXIV's development team, aren't as greedy as people seem to think they are.

    A two seated Chocobo that was shown on one live letter (the other is also behind a paywall) minions for guests, different dresses and some coloring for flowers and carpet.
