Duty Finder queues are too damn long!

I still think they should have made the servers work like GW2 with a worldless design implementing cross world friends list, partying and multi-regional grouping. It just so happens that you could choose a region near you to reduce lag times.

At this point I'll settle for saving my game settings to the server so I don't have to update 2-3 systems. It would be nice to be able to play with my Japanese friends and NA friends at the same time without making 2 characters.

6 DPS to 50 I have, troubles with duty finder I never had...There's something you can always do meanwhile you wait 10-15 min...

AND.... YOU CAN ALWAYS.... Force the things... You know... I made the animus of my ninja the next week, when the low level dungeons had 4 hours queue because of DPS overload.... How?!.... Search function, send a tell to all the tanks with close level to the dungeon (They'll accept quick runs and will accept even more the money), solved.

Play more Tanks, play more Healers.
Simple as that.
We dont need a solution for "But mooom, i wuant dat chocolate".
But as far as i´ve experienced most ppl wouldnt b able to do it anyways, sheer dumbness makes DD´s die over and over and over again.
I dont even believe they know what their skills do.
Maybe i would expect more of most players, if nin´s finally learned to get out of those yellow marks on the ground, blm´s learned that AoE´s are NOT the solution for EVERYTHIN or overgeared dumbshiz gettin into every fkin situation like "CHAAAAARGE!!!!!" and leave the party if others want to wait for protes.
Yeah...i guess that would do the job and yeah i said "Overgeared dumbshiz".
Btw i dont feel like the situation changed since release.

And now dont come along with "But i am not like that *facepalm*".
I know there are many other, maybe even smart examples, but it doesnt change the overall situation.

Make friends. Take turns queuing each other in as Rogue (or other DPS being leveled) and a healer or tank class. Get near-instant queue pops for all the Dungeons and Guildhests.

Someone without very many people on their friends list (because they're a new player- antisocial people are on their own here) can also try their FC, or if their FC is small or they're not in one, try PF to find someone to do two runs like this with. No reason I know of to sit in queue as a DPS for cumulative hours on end on low level dungeons right now, getting a Conjurer or Tank to level 15 so you can do this with beginner dungeons isn't a big deal and ultimately even if you don't plan to play those classes end game, understanding them a bit firsthand will only help you be a better team player as a DPS. Or, got a high level Summoner but never practiced healing as a Scholar? Now's your chance, get the basics down and people will just be happy you showed up. (That's how I started my Scholar career btw, picking up in progress dungeons where other healers bailed at the start on or midway though).

Not comfortable or high enough level to tank/heal a higher level dungeon, but need a high level dungeon on your Rogue/Ninja? Not a big deal, there are plenty of people who would tank/heal your higher level dungeon where you're a DPS in exchange for you getting their lower level DPS through an easy one.

The main issue isnt the queue itself, the problem we have is the lockout.
While waiting for a queue you can do nearly nothing...
With the new forced to accept we can no longer do quests, craft or leves while waiting!
But i was talking in gerneral, Chocobo levelening or the overall messed up party play settings including groupfinder...
You are locked out to play with your friends left alone waiting for the queue to leech your lifeforce out.

I'm actually glad that we're forced to accept now, because it cuts down on trolls and people who force the "Average Wait" timer to go down by withdrawing during the ready up phase.

I never said its bad, you miss the point.
No one and really NO one likes to wait in queue for 1h+ and all you can do is F.A.T.E
