The Dreadwyrm Barbut doesn't take into account Miqote ears, and as such, cuts them off completely. I assume the modeler for it forgot or just didnt bother, and not that its displaying the wrong version of the helm. Either way:

No, see, like most miqo'te helms, your ears are magically warped to another part of your head while you're wearing this. Those golden things poking out near your eyes are where the ears go for this helmet.
10 posts per page is only the default setting; it is bad, and you should feel bad if you haven't changed it.

most head piece styles are pretty awful in this game. i have no clue why. clipping is just so horrible. it's almost impossible to find a decent circlet-like style.
A lot of the gear in 2.4 have some of those quips, whether it be improper design for the ears, or straight up clipping in the most mundane of animations.
