I would enjoy the glamor system more if it was tied to gear sets and not the actual gear.
example:
on sch a robe could have a battlemage glamor.
on wht mage the same robe could have a high allagan torso glamor.

PS3 limitations (no, seriously), they don't want to add too much data to gearsets.
Kind of off topic, but since it's on glamour as well, don't mind if I hijack the thread a little. As I have suggested on other threads before, I'd like to suggest for a glamour book just like the cut scene journal book at the inn. Everything we obtain a piece of new gear, it will unlock a respective entry in the glamour book. Then instead of using a physical gear to glamour onto the gear we are currently using, we will glamour it from the glamour book instead. With this idea, we can save some inventory space which will otherwise be occupied by low level gears solely for glamour purpose. Moreover, it can also bypass the issue of multi-stage gears such as relic, levi, sol and poetic weapons.
It has been suggested several times, but so far has yet to get a response.
Or SE should stop being lazy and create a unique set of gears for every jobs. no more BLM/SMN gears, WHM/SCH gears, MNK/NIN gears, etc.
Bad idea, as a pld i have 3 gearsets for different types of fights. This idea would mean 3 times the amount of glamour prisms. Then there's the fact they don't want to add too much data to gearsets, which led to the emperors gear glamours.
If you tied glamours to jobs, it'd be a pain too as this would hurt those who use different gear for different places e.g. town wear.
If you want to fix a problem you don't want to make more problems.
