This is interesting and I hope that they are careful if and when they decide to do this. Adding in certain stat bonuses has to take into consideration the jobs/classes that can wear that gear. Any armor that a Summoner can wear cannot only give Summoner-specific stat bonuses. There would have to be something for Black Mages, as well, and that makes for a difficult balancing act.
