Chamomile Seeds?

I've been trying to harvest some chamomile seeds, and everything I have read indicates that they should show up in the botanist nodes where chamomile itself is harvested, in Oakwood, upper La Nostril. But I've been harvesting there for quite some time, and while I've received Pixie Plum seeds galore, I've yet to see any chamomile. Is my perception too low? Am I simply gathering in the wrong place?

Random, hidden, rare just like the plum seeds.

I got the Chamomile Seeds my first trip there. It was the plum that took forever for me.

Pretty sure stats have nothing to do with whether hidden items appear or not. If they do, though, I can assure you that I was able to gather chamomile seeds as soon as I dinged level 21. I've so far collected every kind of seed available, as soon as I dinged the relevant level. I don't remember how long it took me to find chamomile seeds in particular, but some of the seeds I've collected have taken much longer to find than others. I suspect, though, that it's not due to the seeds actually being rarer, but just random chance.

Thanks folks. Maybe it's just that I was looking for the chamomile seeds, and so perversity gave me more plum seeds than I needed. Whatever the case, I did eventually get four chamomiles.

Chamomile are Hidden/Rare in the same wasy Topsoils are. Hidden/Rare seeds also come in grades from what I have seen. If yu node hop, yu will see certain seeds pop more than others. e.g Grade 1 Topsoil pops more than Grade 2, same for seeds.

^ What he said. You don't have to actually gather when looking specifically for seeds. You can just click on the node check to see if any seeds pop up. If none do just sprint and run to the next node and check it.

It's a lot faster this way.

The nodes do change and reload.

If you look at your mini map when you disengage from a node you can see them shift.

It's a bit hard to describe. When you go to your third node in that set (regardless of if you cleared them or not), one of the nodes will change up.

Say, you have nodes A, B, C, and D. You visit, A, B, and then C. Once you visit C, A's node resets (as well as anything that it may have had, such as maps or seeds). When you visit D, node B changes. When you check A, D changes. Check B, and C changes. So on and so forth.

This is what I do to make the ixali gathering quests go by faster to find their rare node items.
