Correct on the force PCI-E GEN3, I shared the info for users that may be in that boat. Original post updated, thank you!Note that this only really works with X79 Sandy Bridge-Es. This is because Nvidia decided to only support 5GT/s bus mode by default on these platforms for compatibility reasons. Native PCI 3.0 platforms like Ivy Bridge already run in this mode via driver, and won't see a performance increase by doing this.
The Multithreaded Driver adjustment is not relegated to X79 Sandy Bridge-Es, and should benefit a wider range of Nvidia user.
