    Vanilla mastercards

    Let me start off by saying I'm from Canada

    Ok so I bought PS3 FFXIV last year when ARR first came out(so september). I haven't renewed my sub since. So I recently decided to renew it, because I got a Vanilla mastercard as a gift recently. So after activating my card via the website to buy things online. I went to put sub up.

    But now I'm suffering from the problem of not being able to sub because of issues like 401 (because I've tried too much I assume, I stopped since 10 am so I can try again tomarrow) and ONCE on my PS3 I got 601. But anyways. I wanted to know if

    1. Is the reason that Vanilla Mastercards don't work for this (Mind you I'm from Canada, so maybe a money converting issue)
    2. Back when this first started I had to start a new(Sony) account make it US to be able to Access FFXIV in Canada. Could this be the source of the problem? That the game sees it as account US addressed instead of Canadian? Thus won't accept a Canadian Master card?

    Stop trying for a while. Each time it errors, it sort of "locks" you out for a day or something. You may not be able to legitimately try it for a week if you keep spamming it like that. This sounds like an issue you will need to take up more directly with SE through the support portal during the normal office hours (online chat and such), as it is an issue involving sensitive information (account numbers and such). Use the support link at the bottom of the launcher, then the Contact Us links. Eventually after signing in, searching the FAQ, and continuing through the process you will get to generate a ticket and be presented with contact options (email, chat, phone).
