True and the same thing can be said for most PVE content when you healer dies (unless there is a smn) but that is what PVP skills are for, and 1 healer in Frontlines is never going to be enough. I've had some Frontline matches with where our 3 healers all die before the enemies 2 healers. The thing is you have to predict how the enemy will move and be able you use all your skills and make good use of their additional effects (Blizzard 2 = bind, Stone 1 = heavy, Ruin 2 = blind, etc). Personally I feel like this is what separates the repetitive PVE mobs that are so predictable and ready to roll over to let you win, also there is no tutorial videos on how to beat Maelstrom.

Also another idea was from the last live letter about allowing players to jump data centers so that DF ques arn't impossible at certain times of the night. If PVP had its own version of this then that could definitely help.
