    Housing World Transfer Suggestion

I know that it says characters who own land, etc. are ineligible for transfers, etc: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q...using+transfer

But it would be nice if there was some way to allow these characters to transfer anyway, and keep a "Template" of their house. Which brought me to another game for answers: Minecraft. Minecraft has a massive Mod API people can deal with, and I noticed a lot of mods make use of items being able to store "meta-data." Meta-data allows a single piece of information (Such as an item) to have more information tagged onto it. So how could this benefit housing transfers? Basically...
    1. Save all current data from the current plot of land (House colors, positioning, item positions, etc.)
    2. Queue the house for deconstruction.
    3. Once deconstruction is completed, remove it from the current world that it was in.
    4. Add a key item named "Housing Voucher" with meta data attached from step 1. The description will show the amount of items saved, what size plot is required to use the voucher, and the type of housing area it has to be in (IE: Lavendar Beds.) Untradable, Unsellable, Undiscardable, Unable to store in retainer.
    5. Delete the housing data from the original world database (From step 1.) We don't need it anymore, since it's a part of the housing voucher.
    6. Once the user ends up in the new world, they can look at this key item, and find a plot described by the key item's description.

I like the idea of taking it all with you when you transfer, but how would this work if all plots are filled on your destination server?

That's why it's a key item rather than in limbo.

Yea, I'd love to have this too, would be great for the people who got forced onto NA data centers. EU servers are on the way, and having to drop a medium house is a bit daunting. It's also the reason why I won't buy a bigger house, afraid that it will go to waste

But, as much as I'd love to have this, I don't think it will happen as a lot of resources will be needed (possible but difficult).

Meta-data is pretty hard to code at first, but once it's coded, it can be used for every type of item in the game. Which... brings me to Relics. Relics have meta-data when they change to atma (Novus is an even better example of meta data, since that meta-data carries to Nexus) and you start adding book stats to them. So, the meta-data system is pretty much in the game, just not for everything. The Animus books and materia grids are also items with meta data attached.
