    You can disable the auto hotbar switch when changing stances and you can disable the auto-sheath as well.

    Thank you. I knew I didn't look hard enough. I will find this...no matter what. If I have to put my beer down....then so be it!

    If you haven't found it yet, in the Character config go to the Character tab and uncheck "Auto-sheathe weapon when not in battle". I basically turned that off once MNK and PLD got really awesome idle stances =P
