Hi there!
I'm a new player, and I'm definitely interested in joining up with your LS.
I played FFXI casually, and WoW for a few years, and I'm looking for a new full time MMO after having just quit WoW. (Because, honestly, who wants to play WoW?)
I live in Vermont (EST) and have a pretty damn inconsistent schedule, so I'm basically on whenever I have free time.
I'm looking for a fun group of people to help me improve my gameplay, and to level/quest/play the game with.

Well well!

It brings me joy and a single tear to see people in favor of and ready to join in Carnival's escapades and adventures! However.. like my sig says- we are currently full and the gates taped shut.

Fear not!

I am filtering all our active and quality Carnies into a new LS- "One Night Carnival" and this is the first step to our major coming reform. This LS is 100% open to all- and I am happy to invite you doods if you so wish. But if you do join this temporary LS, I just wish to ask for your patience and to understand that it will not become active for another 2-3 (four at the most!) weeks- of course if I have any bit of luck and haste in getting our members over into the new shell- than we will definitely switch over sooner.

For now, I will add you all to my FL (a.k.a. only known world tracker) and contact you as soon as I can for invites, if you still fancy.

Out with the old and in with the new!

Been a long time since I updated this post, so I wanted to swing by and let all you Rabanastrians know that Carnival is now open.. again! I held off on inviting new people for a while as we worked out the mess and headache that is known as- Linkshell reform.

We are mostly reformed now, and back to healthy stable ground, also the wounds that we endured from Skyrim release have mostly healed! I am still reserving about 10-15 seats for old members who I believe are returning soon, but there's some room left now for anyone who fancies themselves a Carnie

I'm interested in joining as well

I'm an oldschool player from FFXI on Bahamut. I played the beta for XIV, preordered the collectors edition then played for a few weeks after release but ended up leaving in hopes that some patches would clean it up a bit and I'd come back.

After trying it out again post 1.20, I think I'll stick around for a while. I'm really enjoying it now and would be very interested in joining a fun / laid back LS just to get to know some other people. I for one know what kind of impact a good linkshell can have on your experience, I still talk to people from my old LS's in FFXI, those friendships have lasted almost 10 years now. FFXI was a good game but it had some tedious and frustrating mechanics and I often wondered throughout my time playing, why I was still playing. I realized I stuck for the community, I was attached to the people I had met and the friendships I had made.

I'd like to join in hopes of getting some of those old feelings that kept me around back again. I'm 24 now but still miss the good old days lol.

You can find me in game on "Dnied XIV", I've also sent in an application via Guildwork but I wasn't able to leave any comments or anything, not sure how that works lol. If this works out I also have a couple of friends that would likely be interested as well, there are about 3 of us total that have followed each other around since FFXI so that would be pretty cool.

Thanks.. feel free to ask me any questions in game as well. I'm a casual player in the EST time zone. I'm on most evenings during the week for a few hours then most of the time on weekends as well.
