Hey all. Checked out your Guildworks site; you look like a barrel of fun.I've been looking for a casual sort of place to hang out; I've recently come back from a 9-month hiatus - well, wasn't really planning on coming back but it seemed like the changes coming down the pipe might make it a better place than it was during initial release. :X So I'm just wondering if you've still got room for more monkeys - I'm focussing on crafting mostly right now, so it'd be nice to have someone other than a chittery little budgie to talk to while I grind out the synths, and maybe find some other group activities to join in on. ^^

"roll out the barrel.. we'll have a barrel of fun~"
glad to have you with us Kyi!, and of course mr Ash, ye' have made a fine addition to our ranks.
I do not take much time to respond here individually anymore. There's not much point! just to hear myself talk really. I do check the thread often for new posts though. If you take a minute to read this thread and reply to it, than you are pre-approved! So any interested newcomers, feel free to make a shout here and I'll come pick you up when I can in-game! even if I seem silent, I am hunting you like a ninja
Also, foundation day has left us homeless. But fear not, we are slowly migrating to a new location, right by Ococo- next to the chocobo stables/repair guy. He's the mad knife juggling lalafell with a cool hat. So you can also skip posting and just find us and let us know you are from the lodestone! and we will be happy to clear a spot for you.
see you all in game~
also, because I get five gil every time I plug our community site:

Hey guys. Old and current FFXI player who has just decided to pick up FFXIV. I liked a lot of what you said in the original post on here. I'm out to have fun and learn about my new home in Rabanastre! Could use some new friends and some people to help me learn the ropes!
Thanks and hope to see you around!
hi, i started playing more frequently last week and im just learning the ropes of this game, played some ffxi back in the day and would like to join, it would be nice to have something on my chat log other than npc chatter and system messages
Hello there! If you still have room I think this sounds like a good LS for me. I'm a former FFXIer (Tatl of Bismarck) and I've actually been playing this since beta without having canceled at any point though I did recreate my character last december. I loved taking uncommon parties into boss fights and just making it work by using different strategies than everyone else, or even if it just took more tries to get it right. I'm on at all sorts of random hours because I work a night job but I reside in the US, EST. I'd like to be in a LS that is more than just myself and my friend in it.

Hey, i'm in a ls atm but none of them play. I'm from FFXI and i played it for a long time. Was just curious if i could join you. My in game name is Dauntless Lotus. I'm usually pop in out daily. ^.^
Started playing again recently and looking for people to play with. A casual LS is just what I want, so...

Not late at all Recipe! and you definitely make our elite cut Mr Star Drifter!
Also a quick reminder that I do check this post regularly, I just do not give individual responses anymore. For that takes time, precious time which I could instead be playing XIV! and also looking for you
That said, I have been pretty slow and terrible at finding people lately, sorry! If you are anxious to hang out with Carnival (and why wouldn't you be??) but tired of waiting for me to hunt you down, please make some noise on our community site! Applying, or even just making a quick shout on there somewhere is a great way to speed up the process and make your person known and get some priority service.

I do tell my leaders all of your names, but sometimes they are worse than me! (all the time) but I will definitely get an updated list of people to contact, for you all to bug and seek entry into the Carnival from~
Thanks again!
