Get three of every type: blue, red, green and black. Blue in Thanalan, Red in La Noscea, Green in The Black Shroud and Black in Coerthas. Then trade them for Azeyma's firework thing (yellow) and fire it at the cauldrons. Then you get the golden one.

Oh it will, just give it a little time. Personally, I'm about to hit the sack and call it a day. Then tomorrow, I'll go wild with the wallpaper. :P

Yikes... I'm glad I got my black ash at Owl's Nest while it was pretty active this morning (huge huge crowds!). I logged back in there just an hour ago and it was completely dead (maybe normal for Fabul?). Can't wait for lodestone to update, I wanna try the wallpaper =)

I've never been to Coerthas before, is it terribly hard (dangerous) to get to if the best you are is a 23rd level Conjurer?

Would it be better to get a port to close to where the event is being held and secure an escort?

It's not hard at all! If you're really worried, just stay on the road until you get to Camp Glory and set your home point. That way, no matter what happens, you'll be able to get there without much trouble.

I went as rank 15-16 on my main and alts =) I stayed on the path and made sure to steer clear of the wolves. When you head into owl's nest, there is a chance that footpads can spawn in the tunnel, but I was lucky that the area was pretty active at the time and higher level folks were clearing mobs for us lowbies! I think you may be okay at 23, as the mobs were all 26-29 for me.

As for getting there, it's completely safe from Gridania into Coerthas, west of Emerald Moss. Again, just follow the road in Coerthas but feel free to get off the path if it means steering clear of the wolves. If you can get some folks to accompany you, it should be fine =) Good luck!
