    I've noticed the word "spammable" crop up a number of times in this thread. Particularly in the last couple of pages.

    Thing is...at what point does one consider it "spammable"?

    I play Diablo 3 (though I haven't messed with it in a while) and the health potions there, as I recall, are something like a 60% heal with a 60s CD. Admittedly, that's a right powerful heal...but a lot can happen in 60 seconds depending on gear and set difficulty levels.

    I also play another game called Aion. On average, most healing potions (both HP and MP) are on 30s - 60s timers...with healing potency varying on the level of the potions (obviously). It also has 2 variants of potions. Straight up, one-shot heals and heal-over-time (with the latter actually providing overall more healing when all ticks are added up). The larger potions often provide between 1300 - 1500 hp/mp restoration. But...even at the low end of 30 seconds...I'd still call that a far cry from "spammable" as again...a lot can happen in 30 seconds.

    THAT BEING SAID...

    I wouldn't touch timers on stat potions. At most, separate stat and healing potion timers, and possibly dial down healing cd's some (and/or up potency).

    I'd like to see the following wrt to pots:

    1) stat pots - their own CD
    2) health and mp pots - their own CD
    3) resist up pots - their own CD
    4) debuff pots - their own CD

    I'd be happy with just 1 and 2 split and have the 3 and 4 be a single common group as well. But that is I think the minimal that needs to happen. As a bard I use both ethers/elixirs(to extend my songs) and stat pots(for when we need to burn).

    Each medicine should have its own cool down.

    Another thing I don't like is that ether has a 5 min cool down which is fine but Hp recovery potions has 1min 45sec cool down. Now if use ether I have have to wait 5 minutes to use Hp recovery potions. No, I should be able to use two Hp lotions in that time. Nope, They share the same GCD.

    In conclusion this is what I would like to see

    Stat increase (strength. Intelligence, Mind etc)should have its own GDC. Keep the cool down as it is now. I think it is 5 minutes. Shoot I'll take a longer cool down if the duration is increased.

    Status medicine (poison, silence, stun etc) should have its own cool downs. I think these have a 1 min 45sec cooldown

    HP recovery should have its own GDC. Shares same GDC with elixer. If an elixer is used we will have to wait 6 min 30 sec (or w/e it is now for using .

    Ether should have its own GDC. Shares same GDC with elixer. If an elixer is used we will have to wait 6 min 30 sec (or w/e it is now for using .

    Elemental resistances should have its own GDC.

    BY ALL MEANS THEY CAN HAVE THE SAME RECAST COOLike down they have right now but they all shouldn't be on the same GCD.

    GRAKUMA please make the devs aware of this design flaw.

    My argument was based on restorative potions. The stat potions are fine as they are, even if very niche use considering their extremely short duration. The two shouldn't even share the same cooldown in my opinion, and the fact they do just further adds to the stupidity that is consumable items.

    As for the 'poor' remark, I can craft the things HQ for next to nothing. I just don't bother using them because they're an inventory +1 item which adds very little to the grand scheme of things given its lengthy recast, short duration and minimal results.
