    DoL Retainers

    I've finally decided to start melding on my DoL Retainers and question. Does Perception affect anything that the retainers do? Should I just focus on the gathering materia only? Or does perception actually affect the number of HQ a retainer will bring back on normal gathering ventures?

    It's all about Gathering on DoL retainers, similar to how it's all about iLvl (and nothing to do with relative class stats) for DoW/DoM retainers. No need to waste your time pimping out Perception

    Also i70 battle accessories can hold gathering III materia. 5 extra gathering that way. NQ or HQ, makes no difference.
