For some people vanity is one of the most important aspects of a game. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, and everyone has different things that they find fun in games.
Understandable.. so why complain then? (This thread is a complaint about there being too many and not knowing which ones you already have.)
just because you dont, doesnt mean others see your same view. that being said, i think the idea of adding something like this would be nice since ive done it a few times too
I covered that.
Yay! Thank you! Thanks for the suggestions in this thread; I have forwarded them on to the devs!
There is currently a message that appears when you try to re-purchase untradeable mounts and minions, but when it comes to the sellable/tradeable ones they’ll have to look into it. They’re also looking into a similar solution for accidentally re-purchasing barding (as you mentioned) and master craft books.
You're one of those people that protested the addition of glamour, aren't you? I don't see how asking for a simple QoL change can be construed as a complaint. If it is, then there are threads dedicated to complaints over minor changes to make life slightly easier.
This thread isn't a complaint about having too many minions. It's a request to manage them better to avoid accidentally getting a repeat.
Haven't tried this yet for minions, but can't you right-click (square button on PS4) and choose search to see if you already have it before purchasing?
I'm pretty sure that only checks your inventory and retainers' inventory, not your lists of learned skills.
There's a warning message if you buy gear that you're too low-level to equip, but you can still buy it if you want to. I think getting a duplicate of a tradeable minion should work the same way. "Do you want this item even though you cannot use it? Yes/No."
And as for UNTRADEABLE ones, you shouldn't even have the option to get another once you already have it.
Uh no thanks. After I finally got my Xanthos, I'll probably never use another mount.
