Why Are Low Level Dungeons Taking So Long To Get Into?

It's not that no one is queuing for low level dungeons. It's just that there are too many people queueing low level dungeons as ninja. The DF prioritises separating range and melee dps queue. Only under certain circumstances on rare occasions will they queue two melee or range dps together.

Before 2.4, range dps queue was slower than melee dps queue. After 2.4, I can enter low level dungeon using range dps within 7-10 minutes while melee dps takes much longer.

Queue time for healer is still short.
So yes, there are still players doing the low level dungeons. Only not enough healers and tanks to give all the Ninjas a place in a party.

They aren't my wife brd has been under 10 mins for the last 2 weeks.

Also there is no really reward to do them as a tank/healer if you are 50 and you want to level a dps job.

My wife has War/PLD/WHM all at 50, the tomes isn't something she cares about vs EXPing her BRD so she doesn't enter as tank or healer.
Setting the daily reward/roles would go a long way to get people in.
Roles being Healer/Tank/Range DPS/ Melee DPS.
If the daily bonce was for all of these rolls the she may queue up as a tank after get her BRD exp for the day.

Or if the tank mount achievement was granted for job in need.

Quick answer: The Rouge/Ninja zerg ended. Now you just have people leveling them up casually and there aren't as many.

While you can get the daily bonus only once until the daily reset, you can get the "role in need" bonus multiple times. Even if you do the same duty roulette 5 times a day.

And this is fine. It's not necessary to entice DPS to continually flood the queues all day.

How to fix? Switch class to tank = insta queue.

it may sound facetious but DPS have always had longer queue times and now that a new job was introduced, and it was the only one, there is an over saturation of DPS across the board. I love Ninja and want to play it real bad but i'm waiting because of this fact. I'm taking this opportunity to level my Healer and my other tank class and its working quite well! If you are dead set on Levelling a DPS right now, i'm terribly sorry but there is little that could be done to "fix" that.
