T_T somebody please fix. i want to play. i've even tried to use another drive. for some reason this game is no longer working on PS4. please SE, bring back support!
still can't play... i wish this game had some actual customer support for its players >_>
come on Square Enix. fix it already. i will post here every single hour until you do. >_>
oops forgot to make a post. either way, bump.
|BUMP|....
PS4 Player here as well. Haven't seen this issue and I'm not sure if you have tried this, but have you used the rebuild database option yet? If you have and it's still doing that, then I'm afraid I have no idea either why this would happen. If you haven't, or don't know how, just do the following:
1. Turn off your PS4. (Completely, not Rest Mode)
2. Turn it on, but keep your finger on the power button. It beeps once when it comes on, but with your finger on it...it will eventually beep a second time and you can take your finger off.
3. You will have to plug your controller in with the USB cord to use the menu, but once you do there is the option to rebuild the database.
It tells you it will take a long time to complete but personally it only ever takes a minute or two that I've seen, and my hard drive has a lot on it (I buy my games all digital). I'd say give that a shot and see if it helps. There are other options on there, but they are more drastic measures that reinitialize the console, clear the hard drive...stuff like that which I wouldn't consider unless the Rebuild Database doesn't work. I've never used it for this game in particular, but it did help with some of the flaky issues Battlefield 4 had.
If you already tried this or know about it, then my bad but just in case you didn't, I didn't want to leave a post that suggests it and then leaves out how to do it. Good luck, that really sucks you are having that problem and hopefully SE can help.
sorry, but that does not work. i've tried using a brand new drive in the machine. so that would've taken care of something like that.
where are you, Square Enix!? please please oh please oh please fix. :/
This is a user-to-user support forum. Square Enix does not post here except to move or close threads. Contact Sony or Square Enix support directly if you require further assistance.
Sony can not help. they say contact Square Enix. and i can't get the contact us page to load through support and don't know how to contact any other way. it just always says Content Encoding Error. it doesn't matter how many times i refresh.
sheesh i wish SE would get their act together already. so far it's been almost 3 days i can't play.
