Oh...my god. Can you imagine Yin and Yang being the AoE/ST toggle from 1.0's THM? AoE Huton anyone?Hmm I'm not overly familiar with the whole Eastern philosophy but isn't Ten-Chi-Jin a some sort of holy triad in what, Taoism or something?
So if there were to be new mudra I motion it to be a separate one Yin and Yang to have Yin Mudra and Yang Mudra giving enhanced/changed effect.
It's just something made up for the game. The real Mudras have more than just 3 hand seals and they don't relate to Heaven / Earth / Human or those 12 animals like in Naruto. Each sign is a word and when performed in a sequence will create a sentence - like a hand-sign language, really.Hmm I'm not overly familiar with the whole Eastern philosophy but isn't Ten-Chi-Jin a some sort of holy triad in what, Taoism or something?

The real practice of Ninjutsu and use of kuji-in is for meditation purposes. It is based on Esoteric Buddhist beliefs (Mikkyō).It's just something made up for the game. Their meaning in relation to Ninjutsu.
Rin - Strength
Pyōh - Channel
Tōh - Harmony
Sha - Healing
Kai - Sense of Danger
Jin - Reading of thoughts
Retsu - Control of space and time
Zai - Control of sky and elements
Zen - Enlightenment
Mudras are popular and very easy to adapt with meditation and rituals. Which is why there are many different kuji-in / mudra across different beliefs and philosophies and have different meanings.
Video games, movies, and modern mythology obviously associate them having magical powers.
I don't watch Naruto, however since you mentioned animals, it is likely based off Taoist beliefs.

With a trait.Anyone notice how in the fight in the last quest of the Ninja Job series, the opponent uses a "lost 4th Mudra"... That a possible hint about the next Ninja Job skill?
If so, we're already struggling to squeeze 3 Mudras + Ninjutsu into a 2s gcd, how are we ever going to manage 4 + Ninjutsu?
As well as 1 new 2 step combo, 1 new 3 step combo, and 4 new 4 step combos.
He doesn't mind us conducting trials so close to his bazaar, so long as he's properly compensated... Yes, Portus, we pay him in sorcery-blasted bird flesh. - Cocobygo
Why stop at 4 mudras?

"Welcome to the ranks of the blue mages. However, at this moment you are but an empty vessel--a base creature, weaker than the most ordinary mortal. A blue mage must wrest her strength and vitality from her enemies. Show me your hunger for unrivaled power! This is the only guidance I shall give you."
~ Final Fantasy XI Treasures of Aht Urhgan
