Quests do not give a vast amount of EXP so it won't have any major impact on that angle but it does make it more interesting, especially since what asking for would be optional and you could simply choose not to repeat any in which case for people like yourself who says dislike questing...you just don't have to do it and can just level the way you prefer instead.
