30min lock out due to party

I was just locked out of Duty Finder because I'm guessing through out the day someone from different groups I've been in have withdrawn. I hadn't withdrawn once! So this means if you are in a party of seven and one person withdraws, everyone in your group gets a strike against them!

This is known. There was a post from the community team about it. It is advised you do a ready check before queuing if you are in a group.

Ready checking before hand is fine but what about people who purposely withdraw?

Since a full premade party will not get penalty, apparently the logic is anyone and his group withdraw/cancel and impact other players, they will get panalty. Strictly it is not bad to the ppl waiting to enter.

IMO the only "poorly/improperly implemented" was the patch notes (below) doesn't state it explicitly ^^;

We implemented this new three-strike rule and its 30 minute penalty because we'd like players to be more mindful when pressing the withdraw button. As you know, when you queue up to the Duty Finder without a fully pre-made party, pressing the withdraw button after a match has been found will cause an inconvenience to other players.

We understand that this new penalty system can be frustrating for users who feel that they should not be punished for the actions of another party member. Therefore, in the future we will look into making adjustments so that only the party leader, or the player who pressed the withdraw button, will receive the penalty. With that said, we'd like to take time to look into this carefully as there may be methods that allow players to circumvent this.

Report for griefing and move on. Sucks that you've used up your strikes for the day, but nothing to do but suck it up until reset.
