If was no bonus on the low level non-new player one people would not be willing to help others as much in that one without the incentive and would only help the new player but not help anyone else. If keep bonus for both then more people would likely ignore the new player one in favor of running the one with those people experienced in the places so make quicker runs and not need to explain it as much. No matter which way you go it will be detrimental to one group or another and you also have to take into account the element of redundancy since new players are already part of the low level DR.

Segregation of that low level roulette further divides the amount of people helping between them meaning one or the other will have less people helping due to them being busy helping in the other version. I believe there are probably much better ways around helping new players than this method described in the thread. Increasing the incentive on low level roulette's for example. I actually believe SE got it the wrong way around and low level roulette should have higher bonus than high level or expert roulette. Yes higher level roulettes are harder so I can see where they are coming from but higher level roulettes do not need as much help as low level ones.
