Big Thank You To Devs

Im posting this because I dont think it is said enough and because since I started viewing this forum I dont think I have seen any positive feedback.

Since I started playin FFXIV a short time ago I have encountered my share of annoyances and after reading all the reviews I was half expecting most of them, baring all this in mind I am still enjoying my time playing here very much and after playing FFXI I can see there has been a vast improvement in the final fantasy series (which I have been a fan of since FFVII).
Although there is still much work to be done on this game I think the devs have taken a very considered approach. Not only have they openly admitted that this game is clearly not up to their usual standard but they have also wavered the subscription fee until they believe that it is (even though many die hard FF fans would have payed and played either way).

That being said I would like to issue a huge thank you to the development team for their continued efforts to improve our gaming experience which I firmly believe is their main objective (taking president over the obvious want for making back the money they have already lost in this game due to the prior development errors in judgement).

From my experience developers are often inspired by games they have both played and enjoyed and I cant see this development team being any different.
I for one will be only posting the downfalls of this game which I feel contribute to every players dissatisfaction not only my own and therefore will not waste any of the devs precious time.

Once again I would just like to say thank you and happy playing to all the gamers.

Totally agree, the Dev Team and Mr Yoshida is doing better than i expected.

So keep it up !

There really should be a Patch poll 1-2 weeks after a patch have been release where players can
show the dev team what they like / dislike instead of having to read tons of topics about whats good & not.
(Wich i think is a spank-tastic idea ofc)

Totally agree to. A huge thank you to the development team. In my opinion they're doing a very good work. I'm sure they will make FFXIV become a masterpiece as they did with FFXI, they just need time. The hardest work is already done, FFXIV has a very good base. Now it just need some fixes and a lot of content that will arrive with time.

The devs are great? for what? 30k repair costs after one day of partying? Idk maybe their great because the game runs like crap on 80% of the peoples pc who play it? Hmm no? Ok then the devs must be great because they call something like 1.18b a patch when all it contains is some dumb ass damage issues for low rank jobs.. Still no? dang.. hmm.

Because every patch they implement causes us more problems than solutions?
NO?! jeesh.. Then it must be because a year later we still have no real story line missions or pt search function that actually works? Dang I keep thinking I'm getting to it.. but that can't be it.. It HAS to be because this game is still fail.. That has to be it.. I mean cause it can't be because the game is any good. it's not..

I really love what they did with behest though, totally ruined it.. good job there.. ^^.. yea keep up the great work. You'll have 0 players in no time.. Thanks for the new "glitched" UI too btw.. good job there..

Oh I can go on for days.. Want me to? Cause i could also mention how partying is being derailed by the lack of mobs and terrible spawn rates, that we have complained about for a year now.. It's all kinds of fun to go partying against 3 other parties at the same camp.. <3... yep.. great job for sure..

btw. i agree with solace.. the only thing last patch did was give me 6 hours of bordom trying to find a party to do dungeon.. 30 min of fun dungeon, and ... its been a month now? of leveling DOH and DOL because they nered my SP thanks SE!

Ugh.. I just want.. to not be mad..lol.. Here's another one for the list.. That more than a year after release and well into the new teams "progress" the freaking camera still jitters around and stutters so much, that I get physically sick in my stomach sometimes from it... w..t..f....
