How about adding a second Primal Focus Quest?

Back in the day, the Primal Focus quest was a good way to get decent weapons for your alts, and it gave us something extra to do every week.... but those rewards have been irrelevant for quite some time now.

I think we need to see a new Primal Focus quest, involving Levi, Mog, Ramuh and Shiva EX... and of course, some new tokens to exchange for higher level loot!

Mhhh.... Maybe take the tokens away completely and put them up for exchange for Sol/Poe/Ancient dungeon drops? Primal fights are already overdone/boring :/ They've been farmed down to a nub....

Hmm, maybe ilvl 115 would be too good.... I suppose if it took 2 - 3 weeks worth of tokens to purchase a 115 weapon, perhaps that would be balanced?

Otherwise, vanity gear, minions and mounts are always welcome!

Not really. The Primal Focus Quest when introduced in 2.1 gave the equivalent of a Zenith Relics or a pre-buff Allagan weapon, the two endgame weapons. The equivalent reward right now would be getting an i120/i130 weapon and that in many ways is already covered by the Augmented Ironworks weapons.

I like this idea. A lot. It simultaneously adds value to the Primal Focus to begin with (which has been more or less lost except for vanity's sake or alt class gearing by now)

The thing is when the Primal Focus quest was introduced all the first 3 ex primals were released at the same time. Doing it right now doesnt pose as a challenge since we're overgeared now for the new primals(excluding shiva). What they should have probably done if they wanted is just stick to the 4man story mode primals, current ex shiva, ramuh and levi would be hard mode and then release a harder ex version of them on a later patch(maybe 2.5) together with the new primal focus quest.
