Give me a server transfer option. (Rant inside)

Well,

I am in a serious quagmire on Besaid, because of my reputation. Basically, people don't like me because of who I am - abrasive, rude, and troublesome.

Fine, I get it. I know that much. That is a product of who I was in the first few months after launch. I've tried my best to improve myself and be less of a douche/hardass/dick. But it seems like just about 75% of the server has made up its mind, despite my efforts to change those perceptions.

The end result? I have trouble getting parties for Dzemael Darkhold, or participating in events.

I am not interested in rerolling Feral Ren, and I never will roll a new character. Rerolling is like running away from the problem, to simply change masks and start anew - it doesn't work for me.

I'm painfully aware of how difficult it is to change opinions, especially when they have been made up. What I don't appreciate is that being pushed on others and further making it more difficult for me to enjoy Final Fantasy XIV. It's also starting to become ridiculous how there seems to be at least one person in every group or linkshell that objects to the very idea of being in my presence, which just makes it hard for me to play the damn game.

So, this is a request to Square Enix: Implement a Server Transfer feature so I can have the option to leave Besaid if things do not improve.

Its not S-E's fault for your behavior, if you treat others as such you will be treated thusly. This forum might have the most negative community I've seen, but the sense of community that was in FFXI is still in game and I'm glad its kept that way.

I was certainly difficult to put up with. What I'm taking issue with is the idea of people making it impossible for me to enjoy the game even after I've made an effort to improve my interactions with others.

It's like telling someone to "change their ways", and they do change their ways, and you still exclude them anyway. That just effectively nullifies that person's efforts to improve the relationship.

Its an online community my friend...they have no time to see what has changed from you. I tell you this by experience, first impressions on an online community lasts pretty much forever.

Pretty much why I am just about ready to wash my hands of Besaid and move elsewhere. But I am not rolling a new character. I want to transfer Feral Ren somewhere else.

By you saying this pretty much going to follow whatever world you go to. Let's say this SE said they only going to had transfer 6-1year from PS3 because they feel that how long it going to take for someone to get bored or want to leave to other world.

Tho they did say this a long time ago still the core system need to be fix first then maybe ps3 need to be out before they even add this but who knows lol.

Them's the breaks. Make a new character with a new name, or make the best of what you have. Why should SE accomodate you by way of server transfer for your delinquent behavior?

But who's to say you will not have same attitude on other server . To be honest im a Sac in my shell and I take to account where people are from and what their past was like on a server . If it was bad due to how game was as in u bitching about it then i would maybe over look it and give you a pearl. but who's to say i know you from here and so idk lol

I wouldn't call it delinquent. It's more like being extremely abrasive, blunt and undiplomatic. I don't have the ability to use tact well. So when you look at it that way, the situation I'm in makes sense because people are f*cking snowflakes!
