    He is indeed mentioned during the Twin Adder quest 'The Mail must get Through' Although Nael Van Darnus could be the Judge looking guy in the current final storyline quest.

    Unlikely. Nael's armor and weapon are different from the R46 quest legatus.

    I don't think it's the same as in the lvl46 mission (different armor, different name). Plus, there are many legions in the army, so there are many legatus (at least 14 legions, since the legatus of the 14th legion, Gaius van Baelsar, is mentionned in the game). Darnus is the legatus of the 7th legion.

    Also let's not forget that the r46 mission guy has a gunblade and this is a gunlance (my guess is that they don't switch classes like we do lol).

    Do you get a Lodestone achievement for this?
