T6 bug or patch note error ?

So I was in T6 a few minutes ago (for a whole 70 minutes wiping before a down ,woohoo <3 but that's not the subject today), and something strange appeared :

Damage dealt by the attack Acid Spray used by acidic honey has been reduced. Furthermore, players will no longer receive a damage vulnerability debuff.

this is directly quoted from the patch notes. However, once we entered the P3, we noticed a totally different result :

=> Leafstorm is now laughable, around 400 damages at most (even with a succor every time that I might not have noticed, it has clearly been reduced)

=> Acid Spray deals somehow reduced damage, but the stacks of vulnerability are still here and wipe us just like before. We wiped a fair amount of time right before the kill due to that before finally managing to down the thing.


The french notes have the same sentence. It is a bug or are the notes wrong ?

I haven't done T6 post-patch but I think you're confused about the skill names.

Prepatch, directly hitting an Acidic Honey would result in a 4000-5000 damage counter attack plus a non-stacking "Vulnerability up" debuff. This skill is called Acid Spray and that's the skill the patch notes are referring to.

The AoE skill that's used periodically in the last phase is called Acid Cloud, which applies the stacking debuff Potent Acid. This is what tends to wipe you once it reaches ten stacks and it hasn't been changed in 2.41.

ooooh that must be that. I was sure the name was Acid Spray, but once in a battle, it must have been confusing. I know we once wiped due to a honey dying, must be why I got confused
