Do the bots actually unlock jobs?

The majority of bots I've seen tend to just teleport to mobs and 1 shot them or teleport to gathering nodes and gather from them beneath the ground so people/monsters can't attack them.

Also, just so you know the crafted i110 gear as well as the crafted i90 gear allow the base classes to wear the gear. I've never seen bots actually geared out though.

Nah that's all supply/demand. It's only going to delay them getting into end game content slightly. I don't actually expect to see many price changes because its not going to affect the spiritbond people so much. If anything, it may mean a little more low materia on the market which should drop prices, not raise them.

What you said doesn't make any sense, if bots are the ones supplying materia and it becomes harder for them to get to that stage then the supply will drop and the demand/price will increase.

I'm not saying that is the case everywhere (I've never seen bots while spiritbonding on Cactuar) but according to the post I quoted, bots are forming spiritbonding parties in mor dhona/north shroud, which pretty much says they're supplying tier 3 and 4 materia to the market.

Any server where there are actually bots forming parties for spiritbonding would be effected by a change that makes it more difficult for them to do that. Especially once the current level 50 characters are banned and they have to start over, there are a lot of additional quests to get to that point in the main scenario.
