Level 30 job quest requirements have been adjusted as follows:
Before:
Players must reach level 30 with the job’s associated class.
After:
Players must reach level 30 with the job’s associated class, and have completed the main scenario quest "Sylph-management."




Do you realize what this does for the game? It seriously slows down hinders certain bot/rmt activity. They won't be able to unlock jobs. They won't be able to use the i90 gear. It won't stop everything, but it's a nice thorn in their sides, haha.

But what if they already unlocked the job? Will the game force them to change or will it they still have the jobs?

Can't do anything if they already unlocked it. Just like legacy players came into the game as full lvl 50 with job.

Its gonna "prevent" more from coming into existance.

Not really prevent, more like delay... At any rate you need to beat main scenario to access anything worth farming, I dont really see the point. I dont remember the quest either.

The majority of bots I've seen tend to just teleport to mobs and 1 shot them or teleport to gathering nodes and gather from them beneath the ground so people/monsters can't attack them.

Also, just so you know the crafted i110 gear as well as the crafted i90 gear allow the base classes to wear the gear. I've never seen bots actually geared out though.

Yea they unlock it gear e with tradable good then farm stuff.

I've seen like 6 identical black mages (features and gear) stack up one next to the others near the aetherite in uldah, all warping together and going to do dutyfinder stuff

Well once they're deleted they will have a problem when they make new characters. So get to reporting them, make their presence known, etc all for the sake of throwing a proverbial wrench in their operation

Nah that's all supply/demand. It's only going to delay them getting into end game content slightly. I don't actually expect to see many price changes because its not going to affect the spiritbond people so much. If anything, it may mean a little more low materia on the market which should drop prices, not raise them.

What you said doesn't make any sense, if bots are the ones supplying materia and it becomes harder for them to get to that stage then the supply will drop and the demand/price will increase.

I'm not saying that is the case everywhere (I've never seen bots while spiritbonding on Cactuar) but according to the post I quoted, bots are forming spiritbonding parties in mor dhona/north shroud, which pretty much says they're supplying tier 3 and 4 materia to the market.

Any server where there are actually bots forming parties for spiritbonding would be effected by a change that makes it more difficult for them to do that. Especially once the current level 50 characters are banned and they have to start over, there are a lot of additional quests to get to that point in the main scenario.
