Using a 60 sec skill, for a skill with cast time of 2.88s seems like a waste. I'd rather be ready to rez at any moment as that is what summoners are given the ability to do.

Which, depending on other factors, may mean rez'ing someone.

I don't think using swift cast and shadowflare is going to be a big boost in "optimization" re-casting your dots and making use of your instant skills i believe does the trick. I really would like some damage charts on this tho, comparing the use of swift shadow and not. And once again this class isn't like the others, this dps has the resurrect option. Which i think is being overlooked and not given enough spotlight as it should.

Does not matter how big the boost is, dmg is dmg. I'd take a 1 dps increase if it meant using cooldowns in a different order or something of the like. Min/max, especially if you are a raider.

Over the course of a 10 minute fight if you have to res someone 10 times, something is very, very wrong.

Also to add that WHM and SCH have much smaller mana problems, they seem to be on par with SMN after a single rez, honestly I'm 'happy' when they have to rez, that means that manasong is more likely to be coming and I can DPS to my max.
