You're being way too conservative. SMN isn't first raise priority to begin with.

I know that not using it on shadowflare makes you miss out on a certain amount of dps, and if your goal is to be an extremly efficient dps more power to ya (lol literaly ). If I was in a group where i knew that if i rezzed someone that it would actually throw a whm off cause he is that good, i would turn to using swiftcast and shadowflare in a heartbeat.

Its a combo that is to precious to give up. And is what separates our class from the other dps.

Same. i always tell my static members "no one die in the next minute, i just used shadowflare" lol

Shouldnt need to save their mana. WIth our current gear and everything else, WHM/SCH have FAR better MP management then SMN. They also get piety on their gear.

Not to mention SMN have the smallest MP pool of any caster class.

We SMN are running into MP problems in Final Coil even without counting in rez
