Ok.... Let me explain the tittle, and the whole thing better, but here's a short idea of what I thought when 2.4 came... "Yay!.... MNK AND NIN share gear, cool!" and this is what I thought when I saw the "Scouting" gear in Ironworks Gear "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Now.... Let's put it in the all-arounder point of view... I like to gear up, slowly, as they are a lot of classes, all my classes... As you may know, you have the super advantages of gearing up 6 classes like if gearing just three... While the others are just... Exaggerated complicated for non reason at all...I don't understand the Ironworks design neither...So... Here it goes my schema of compatibility, gearwise what other jobs you can fully or partially gear when gearing up:

Note: Left side gear = (Head, Chest, Feet, Legs, etc...)
Left side gear: WHM and SCH share it.
Accesories: They both use same stats, mind.
(Please I'd appreciate you to avoid comments such as... "But SCH needs critical and WHM needs bla bla", we got it, now keep reading, it concerns the you can equip it, you can't.)

Left side gear: WAR and PLD share it.
Accesories: They both use same stats, vit, str, etc...

Left side gear: BLM and SMN share it.
Accesories: They use int.

Left side gear: NONE OF THEM MATCH... NIN and MNK the exception and by giving a look to ironworks you can imagine that's no more.
Accesories: DRG MNK share STR, but their left side gear doesn't match so... BRD and NIN share dex, but we go to the same, even the pre-110 gear is shared with monk.

Basically as you see in the schema.... You need, almost, four different damn sets for... Four classes.... While you can cover SIX of them just by having three sets... And I'm finding some of the gear limitations a bit... Weird, for example, If monk and ninja share even the 110 gear.... WHY NOT IRONWORKS?!.... Is that they share the pre 2.4 gear just because SE (Logical, btw, I wouldn't add useless pre-50 gear after adding any new classes neither.) didn't want to make more armor models? If so, why not sharing it for the rest of the gear?...
Because if you notice, there's not so much difference between BRD and NIN Ironworks and neither the same with DRG and MNK... At least Gloam and Auroral Tabards had more different colors but in this case it is just revert white and black...(To be honest, I like more the design of the MNK and DRG ironworks armor than BRD and NIN... Too bad NIN has to stuck with it and can't use MNK gear just like with the other gear around....)
Am I the only one who encounters it odd, weird, and overall, annoying if you want to gear it up? It was already annoying to gear DRG, MNK and BRD by different, I was kind of relieved when I saw MNK and NIN would share gear, but... By glancing at 120 gear... I think it is not going to be the case in future gearsets... There will probably be more "Scouting" gear to see.
Sigh... Even if NIN and MNK gear would stay being to be shared in the future, they still don't share accesories because of stats so... Was really so balance breaking to at least allow them to share the left-side gear?....
