I ask for evidence in equivalent gear on a mnk because the good ones I know cap out at the same dps as me even with 2 i130 gear pcs.

Then you were either parsing short intervals that defeat the entire point or those "good ones" you know are actually terrible. Eg. if those monks can't beat you in a t8 (pre or post nerf) then they're bad.

Thus the whole point of a 5 minute run instead of a 3.5 minute. The entire discussion is about sustained damage. Pre-nerf no fight in second coil/final coil was shorter than roughly 5 minutes. 5+ Minutes you start to see good drg dps taper off and mnk/nin dps shine.

In that t10 unless your nin was every single charge target throughout the fight they should be hitting numbers much higher than yours if their gear is equivalent.
