    In game item exchange

As a suggestion, item that is bought with tokens aka Tombstone of Soldiery / Poetics should be able to be sold to a vendor to same ammount of tokens they were bought with if a specific amount hasn't passed. That way people have 20 mins or so to realize if the item they bought was indeed the one they wanted or if they made a mistake they can sell the item to the vendor and then buy the one they actually wanted.

Or.... pay attention and buy the right thing in the first place, not just faceroll it at the vendor.
Myself, I do item comparison, try ons, the works, before i'll commit to spending those hard earned tomes.

^This pretty much. It's the player's responsibility to check what they're buying is actually what you want. The common retail mantra 'all sales are final' and all that.

Or they can actually make it so that when it DOES happen people don't have to go out of their way to open a ticket. You have to be pretty stupid not to want quality of life improvements in a game you enjoy. It is a staple of MMOs at this point and its not that hard to implement either.

And yet games like wow made that a priority? Seriously stop victim blaming and actually give feedback to the problem. It happens, and you have to go around hoops to fix it. Having an automated system in place for these kind of events not only makles the playerbase happy but it also alleviates some of the support ticket congestion. Win Win for SE imo

Or, maybe you should just accept responsibility for your own actions and maybe take notice of what you're putting money/tomes/seals down on is what you truly want instead. You can hover the cursor over the item's name to view it's stats to make sure it's useful for your current class/Job anyway, so it's not like you're in the dark about what each piece of gear is (and even if it didn't have that, the tome gear names are pretty easy to determine for what class they used for).
