Nael did this in 1.0 as well, so I don't think they'd remove such an homage.
They tend to remove insta-kill mechanics. In T9 this may be Binding Chains, Heavensfall (direct landing on you damage), and Garrote stacks.
Not that I'd welcome any changes to these, mind you.

Considering that T5 was left mostly unchanged from what I was told, I'd doubt they'd change up anything on Nael Deus Darnus.
Outside of bee stings (Qarn, and now T6) and AK last boss' AoE (both which you could squeak by with enough HP/buffs for their time), they haven't nerfed OHKO before to my knowledge.
Twisters, dreadknight, and death-wall still be giving people problems in T5.
I'm pretty sure SE didn't intend the wall dodge for divebombs. You're suposed to do them like in T9. So we can't really complain about a problem players themselves made.
T9 shows you ahead of time where they'll be diving in from so you can prepare for it. T5 is just whichever spot is closest to the target, and then does it three times in a row to randomly picked targets with a shorter time frame to get away in comparison to T9.
Death wall is a mechanic at any rate since you're supposed to avoid hitting it, and divebombs have the added large knockback effect to drill that into your head. The pit just ended up being ideal since it removes the need to check for Twin and dodge to the side of wherever he's pointing at.
Ah sorry, I didn't mean to word that in a way meaning they remove ALL insta-kill mechanics.
It just seems those are the things they actually do target quite often.
But Twisters did in fact get a nerf.
