The boss you should be worried about is Madison. I've done that dungeon tens of times and I STILL don't understand the mechanics. I just let the DPS do their thing while I grab adds lol. I hope Madison chokes on his tenticles.

Madison will lunge at players seemingly randomly (though I'm pretty sure it's HP % based when each phase of his lunging starts). After he's lunged he'll push them away, target a random player, start firing at the player, and gain buffs for each shot he fires. To stop him from firing, much like the Qarn HM 2nd boss or Moggle Mog EX BLM, you simply have to do enough damage to him for him to "miss". Sometimes he does this when adds are out. When he's gotten fed up with missing, he'll leave, summon a bunch of adds, and once those are all dead the fight is over (typically mage LB can be used here, if not then manually kill your own grabbies and then everything else).
Player
how do you transfer the tank stun?

Get another player to break the laser that's between the tank and the boss. It's like Brayflox HM at the first boss with the snipers. It doesn't always work though, transferring the stun to a lalafell is a bazillion times harder than transferring it to a Roe. It also seems like (to me at least) that the stun cast time getting quicker as the fight goes on. The 3rd or 4th stun is near instant.

I believe it's actually by running through the PLAYER rather than the tether. Of note, the gobbue in Lost City has the same mechanic.

His tail attack is easy to avoid but barely any group I play with does it. When the Tank is not stunned from the Wave that appears later in the fight, he can easily stun the attack. Doesn't matter if the Tank is a WAR as there is enough time for the cooldown. If the Tank is stunned, a DPS can stun it during the Wave phase. Most DD's have an option to and it drives me nuts when I see how they all bring it down to the Healer's Problem and even yelling at him when he doesn't Esuna the debuff quickly enough. This is one of these fights that's not hard but could be much more comfortable for the entire Party if more Players would use their stun skill. But seems not to be an option, might lose 5 DPS lol.

The stun tether can be picked up by standing directly on top of the targeted person. You can also block the stun effect by nulling the incoming damage. (Adlo, manawall, etc.)
You're only going to be able to stun him twice before he's "fully resistant", so you should work out who is going to stun before going in so that two people don't stun once and use it up. With decent DPS, he'll get 3 tailspins, so I suggest letting the first tailspin go. The healer will have no problem using esuna/leeches to remove the status effect before hand. The TS will take you to 1% health regardless of how much you have, so making sure people are 100% healed won't matter. Remove the slime, let tailspin happen, heal that player and if you can, do the same for the second one. That way, you're guaranteed, even with OK DPS to stun the next two before you take him down. Let's face it, if you have two bards, limit break isn't going to help finish him off in time.
I did this fight the first couple days. The cast bar for tailspin was there right away. In order to prevent from multiple stacks of the slime effect, handing off the tank stun is only useful if you have no DPS stun (e.g. two bards).
Actually, he just hits more people with slime. If they are close together, you can get more stacks of slime, so stay about 90 degrees from each other on the boss and you'll be OK. The effect of tailspin is the same each time, but the more that have to be removed means that the healer has only so much time to remove each effect and each stack, meaning you may lose people with multiple stacks. Tailspin takes you to 1% health and slime will finish the job.
