I've been randomly, haphazardly toodling on whatever strikes my fancy among:
-Working on my novus
-Getting DoH and DoL closer to fully stacked
-Desynthesis
-Learning T6 (yes I'm slow) and Shiva Ex
-Leveling NIN
-Leveling my bird/SBing

What I've been doing??

- Shiva HM / EX
Did it, though it was harder for my group than others'.

- Final Coil
Haven't been able to touch it. Second coil though! Got my T8 win and been farming T6 and T8 like cray. Working on T7 though once again, having a hard time with it. T9 is also still being learned...I'm to golems though!

- Sastasha, SToQ HM and Snowcloak
Did Snowcloak on the first night. Sastasha and Qarn HM we did in the following days and it was awesome. We didn't realize a lot of the mechanics cause we're a great group but since running it with FC mates, we noticed that they can be quite awesome and challenging in a few spots.

- Hildibrand Quest
I hadn't touched it since the second part. It's just not my thing. My friends love cause they say it's the funniest damn thing ever but such campy humor just isn't for me. However, I want the trials unlocked again so I'm just kinda steamrolling through it trying to catch up.

- New Crafts
Nope. I tried getting into crafting but when I learned that you needed to have EVERYTHING leveled and geared to be a proper crafter/make money, I kinda bowed out. I want to be able to eventually do 3 star crafts at minimum but you need Piece by piece, another lvl 50 crafter ability to do anything. Plus, all the need for the Ixali beastmen tribe sealants isn't cool either.

- ROG / NIN
The craze kept me away. The complaints of the queue also kept me away. I just recently unlocked it this past weekend and it was smooth. Wasn't anything special but it was smooth.

Oh, and I stopped doing ST. It's crazy in there. The fight for gear (that peeps don't even wear) and sands/oils is ridic.

Other than that, I've noticed that my FC has focused on collecting things like the new Shiva chandeliers and the fancy food that you can put on the tables. A bowl of fruit has been placed in front of the mender and it holds easy access to the mender hostage. I love it. I've also noticed that people in my FC have gotten the idea of private houses out of their minds and have instead bought rooms in the FC house. So they are super decorating!

Done it hundreds of times for fun and maybe a lucky mount drop. Extremely easy fight with a good soundtrack, one of the better additions in this patch. Still no pony drop.

- Final Coil

Haven't really bothered to do it. I don't have a static anymore either and progression on my server is pretty much dead as far as that goes. Oh well.

- Sastasha, SToQ HM and Snowcloak
I've only touched Snowcloak and I think I've done it like maybe 2 or 3 times. I hate dungeons and find them pretty pointless. I cap my poetics and get soldiery by spamming T4 for Allagan mats and desynthesis gears.

- Hildibrand Quest
Haven't done it yet, love the quest series and the entertainment it brings but just haven't got around to it I guess?

- New Crafts
I'm a 4 star crafter in all but CUL. I find it totally useless (as per usual) and the mats needed for the 4 stars are pretty ridiculous so I don't see my casual server picking up on this stuff anytime soon. Speaking of 4 stars, I find the overall crafting process of the 110 gear extremely annoying and time consuming. I've been rejecting players asking me to craft for them constantly because I can't be bothered to synth 5 (4 star synths) before being able to craft the 4 star armor piece of choice. I do 4 stars for me and the overflow I list on market and let it sit there until someone is desperate and buys. I don't do work orders for people anymore.

- ROG / NIN
Best thing implemented in the patch. Finally a class that is actually fun to play and not oversimplified to the point where you feel like it is lacking something. It seems like the developers put all their time and energy into Ninja this patch while everything else was an afterthought.

As for what I'm doing now? Standing around doing little or nothing like I was a month before the patch. I guess as a hardcore player, I was bound to be cashed out pretty quickly on this patch since there was only final coil and Ninja there to keep us busy. The new dungeons offer nothing in the way of rewards, just your best soldiery/poetics ratio. Very little glamours got introduced in this patch which really bothered me. Granted, the new 110 crafted gear looks great but the sheer time and money investment involved into acquiring this gear isn't worth it at all. The general population is skipping the gear and just waiting out for poetic reset day for Ironworks armor. All-in-all I'm disappointed in 2.4 and my last hope is Heavensward. If that is another rehash of 2.0, I'm going to cash my chips in and leaving for good.

Been falling behind on ex primals so lately ive done them all til mog ex and levi. (Still got ramuh and shiva)
Cant gear up any of my classes cause they are all ilvl 109 (and no I havent put in any effort to try beating coil yet) and the new cute gear I want still cost 5mil on the market for one piece. Soo Im kinda out of things to do too.

Thats why I made a new character, cause I didnt feel my main character should be tanking.
Tried out paladin and Im now level 50 trying to get ilvl 70 to start getting gesr from st/new dungeons. And at ilvl 80 im gonna try beating Garuda ex as a tank.

Got it all planned out!

Just left an FC to start one up with a buddy in the coming days. So I have put leveling DPS/Healer on the back burner so I can power through to level my crafters. Oh and I run the odd Dungeon Ex roulette for poetics/alex

I've just been farming Atma, tbh. Have the atma weapons for WHM and WAR. I'm working on the books for WHM currently. When I'm not doing that I run Expert Roulette for soldiery, poetics, and the alexandrite map so I have a headstart when I get to that stage. My static will probably be trying Shiva EX in the next few weeks as well.

It's fun. I think it's the best designed primal. Farmed it a bunch. Got a bunch a stuff.

My group took the 1st couple weeks off but we started this week and should beat 10 any day now. So far so good /fingers crossed.

- Sastasha, SToQ HM and Snowcloak
I do them.for roulettes. Overall like them. Qarn is my favorite. Cloak is relaxing. Satasha is kinda annoying, but will get retard easy with more gear.

- Hildibrand Quest
I did this only so I could use trial roulette again. I skip all the text and scenes. Don't understand the obsession with this guy. Never cared for his stuff at all. Got minion on my quest kill. Ecstatic I ever have to deal with it again.

- New Crafts
I can't craft anything over 2 star so don't really care.

- ROG / NIN
aweshum. I was a thief in ffxi, so it's nice to finally get back to my sneaky roots. Goin all in. Changed from war main for my coil group to nin main. Should get enough Alex to finish novus in a few days. It's exactly what i hoped for. (Except it's dex job so I can't leech str accessories for dps war but now my bard will be a playable 3rd job at least)

Good patch. I either like or am in different to everything in it. No complaints here.

Grinding/farming ST and leveling up combat classes mostly. Since 2.4 I've gotten Black Mage (from around 41) & Dragoon (from 30) to 50, gotten Zeniths for them and 2 or 3 other jobs, and started/completed my first Atma. I'm currently working on getting Paladin to 50 and ignoring most of the new content (still need to do a lot of the main story to even unlock it all).
