I've got a question, I'm working on getting Alexandrite.. what stats should I put them in? I was thinking Crit, Det, and acc. But now I'm having second thoughts.. should I just do Crit and Det? What would you do?

My Novus is exactly like that... When I ran out of materia IV I just ussed accuracy, probably is going to be needed at some point too.
So you got Crit, det, and acc?
Not sure, I have heard people say to put them where lacking but take into account entire gear set will be using later. For example I heard people say pump accuracy if when take into account future gear if you find lacking accuracy required in say endgame coils. Personally taking in account my own ilvl is around 106 right now I am almost capped in accuracy for coils so I would not want to waste points in that later. Just stuff like that, also I never played same class as your main one listed above so can't advise on caps for things or which are most important to pick. I just wanted to point out need to think about gear set will have and impact that has on stats when deciding what stats to pump during part your on. Don't for example pump into a stats currently want to cap if you still have a lot of gears easy to get at say ilvl120 which alone would exceed that cap since when get those gears you would of wasted the stats on something will not need later.

Aye, personally that was my choice, not regretting it yet... Truth is that I don't care so much about stats or gear but.... In my opinion wasn't a bad choice after all. Having in mind that ninja's auto-attack is cool I decided to use determination, having in mind that I love to see big numbers in screen, criticals,. It remainted having 10 accuracy, 39 crit and 28 det, I think, can't remember now. In my first video in sunken hard you can see it nevertheless.
I've been using mine and I got 9 acc atm so maybe I'll just do what you've done.Aye, personally that was my choice, not regretting it yet... If you are super rich, then I say go Full Crit and Det, if you don't want to throw like 750k for each grade IV matera, then i think a Crit / Det / Acc build is viable. Just go all Crit and Det until you reach Grade IV and fill the rest with Acc.

Tanking is a job, DPSing is a science and Healing is an art.
If the Tank dies, it's the Healer's fault. If the Healer dies, it's the Tank's fault. If the DPS dies, it's their own damn fault.
Go crit, det, acc. It's so much cheaper and will allow you to get your novus done quickly so you can start working on your Nexus. Don't worry about having the *perfect* novus right away. It's more important to just get your novus done. Besides, if at some later point you really want those perfect stats, it's really easy to redo your stats at any time. If you end up with however many millions upon millions of extra gil needed to get all that crit/det IV materia, then you can strip off all that accuracy (without losing any crit/det you've put on already) and just fill in the remaining crit/det as needed.
IE: 23 det, 33 crit, 19 acc
you can strip off 19 acc, with 19 alexandrite you can then put on the remaining 8 det, 11 crit to create the *perfect* 31 det, 44 crit novus. You can even do this after you have created your nexus, and it will still cost the same amount to *fix* it (you don't need more alexandrite just because the nexus has more stats total).
You can still do the daily quest for alexandrite even after you've got your novus. Just keep doing that quest and you'll have the alexandrite handy any time you want to fix your novus/nexus. You'll want to do this anyway because the alex maps give light for your nexus.
