Reading over the posts it looks as if all servers are crashing. Any timeline on when they will be back up?

I dont know if this helps, but it looks as if it is a isolated problem in Canada!! hey go figure.. put your servers in the US and pay a little more for better climate that doesnt have so much snow this time of year!!

I was able to get back in thankfully. I still say stop taking the cheap road and put the NA servers in the US.. I know that is all it is.. it was cheaper to host them in Canada.. Nothing against Canada, but hey snow and cable lines dont like each other very much

And we are down again.. ya.. too much of this and I want extra days for free!! well super garbage tonight. not to concerned though.. My suppose to be shiva ex farm group in fact was still a learning group.. I guess its time for bed.

It's an online game, as annoying as it is when it happens, it does happen. No need to give out free days for something like this.

speak for yourself, it was their decision to put these servers in Canada to save on the hosting cost and have subpar servers.. I know what i speak of.. hosting in the US cost more.. its a simple numbers game for revenue.. so yes. I want free days if I am unable to play for a few days because they cant spend some of their millions to put them where they are stable.

I have played for a over a year and some months, look to the left see that Aug 2013.. this isnt a new problem, but one that keeps coming back..

how many people actually know the story behind SE and how they never expected FFXIV to amount to anything.. I started back playing when 2.0 was released.. They had to stop the sale of this game cause of the overwhelming player base they obtained.. yes that popular.. but they went with Canada of all places for NA/EU servers. now while this has only small problems for NA player, imagine the lag the EU players deal with.. especially if you are lets say Australian.. anyways.. goodnight maybe.. we shall see
