Is this a bug with zodiac books?

Just ran Halatali hard mode to tick off dungeon boss clear in book. Ran the entire dungeon and boss was killed, got the dungeon completed message and left but in the book the boss was not ticked off or marked as killed...the only thing I can think of is I had been KO'd just before the other party members finished off the boss (1 of 2 in that fight) even though I was one who took most of its health before killed me of which I was then resurrected and killed off the other boss.

Please do not tell me I have to be alive the exact second the boss dies as that would be stupid, it would not take into account any contribution within the fight if that is the case and invalidates the entire 30+ minute dungeon run and the potentially 30 minute to hour+ queue time on top of that just because of a 1-5 second down time between died and resurrected in the fight...if you did design it this way on purpose just to annoy and troll your players making them waste their time then please change it so if your party kills the boss and your present, online and contributed then you get the kill ticked off in the books because if not then it is SERIOUSLY not fair at all.

Did you have your atma weapon on when you initiated the boss?

Pretty sure you just have to be in party. There was once when i joined an in-progress party and the ppl where 3-manning the boss already and afterwards i got the target marked as complete

If that's the case it needs to be changed.

It is not fair that I spent over hour maybe hour and half doing something only to have a 5 second downtime (due to tank not using any aggro holding skills) completely invalidate that hour and half of waiting and running of the dungeon. I did most of the damage to the boss, was doing my job in group and was one who told them how to do the fight yet I died for a brief moment because other people were not doing their jobs, they were not using the scepter in the dungeon on time so I kept getting hit by aoe's and tank not doing his job I kept getting aggro even if took it easy on the DPS. I practically killed it myself but died in last second then someone else got final hit in and only after that did I get resurrected of which then killed other boss and completed the dungeon.

Seriously not fair if I and anyone else has to waste such long amount of time just because of a few seconds issue right at the end. It cant be that hard for SE to make it so that if your group kills the boss in the book, you was present and you contributed to its death then it counts just like is the case in every other aspect of the game from dying in storyline dungeons, raids and trails to just farming instances, doing fates etc in which none of those punish you like this just because die at some stage during fight provided fight is completed by rest of group. So why do it to players like me in the zodiac books this way...please fix this issue with the books SE.
