Well, in regards of "power of three", it would make more sense to have a fairy with the power of afternoon?
Eos means Dawn
Selene means Moon, can be associated with the night
So next one would be related to Afternoon or Evening, I guess :P

I still don't think a third fairy would fit current scholar lore, though. But if there's some advanced class system that goes beyond the soulstone for level 50+, I wouldn't doubt that.

Its going to happen, we already discuss this on an old post we talked about helios too and SE said that when smn gets a new pet, sch will do too something like that it was an admin comment, but who knows

Also I belive that a third pet wont make obsolete the other 2 why? Well, as a sch i can tell u that I use both of my fairies in all fights, yes, it depends of the phase im on, so a third pet could be usefull with an insta rez or it could be a fairy that kills it self to rez some one xD

Honestly a cupid type fairy following us around would be cool, and if he could raise that would be awesome as well, a hindrance removed from scholars. But if Scholars do get AI raise then white mage should get AOE raise to be fair.

They Will add a third fairy. Its a must. Because smn Will hav new egis why sch would not? Who cares about wt kind of fairy it Will be. An animal a guy....i prefer a female one but i just want a new one. I like to hav more choices in different situations. Im a sch and in a dungeon For example i change my fairy 2-3 times depending on situations. I would love to hav another more option.

If Eos and Selene are one and the same fairy, that does not mean SE cannot add a new fairy with 1 or 2 or even 3 aspects to chose from.

Not going into the "does SCH need it" and possible skills discussion here,
but the lore only predicts that SE will most likely not change Lily (Eos+Selene) but it does not explicitly exclude a new fairy.
