Why don't Ramuh EX weapons drop every time when Shiva EX weapons do?

    As the title says.

In truth, I know the reason: SE wanted Ramuh to be another EX primal grindfest that players didn't actually bite on, preferring mostly to work on their (superior ILvl) Relic Nexus weapons. But, now that Shiva is dropping weapons at the exact same item level as Ramuh, and that her weapons are dropping every time with every victory, is there really any need to keep Ramuh weapons so rare?

Just like SE upped the drop rate on Mirrors of the Whorl, they should up the drop rate on Ramuh weapons.

I agree. I've never seen a Ramuh weapon drop.

But, the Shiva weapons are i110 and the Ramuh are i100.

Ah, good point, missed that. Even more reason to fix it.

Yeah, my group thought it was kinda silly when they made Shiva EX weapons sure drops but the Ramuh ones...eh, not so much.

I always just kinda wished they kept the weapon rate like Ramuh's because I don't like being fed such things. I come from XI where you were lucky if you got anything useful in a huge fight. I'd just like a bit more work involved.

I do kinda see your point, but I disagree only because all the other primals have a guaranteed weapon drop. You still have two layers of RNG to work through--whether the weapon that drops is the one that *you want*, first; and then second whether you can win the lot against other players.

I could see and appreciate a lower drop rate for weapons to make them rarer; but only if they did that to *all* the primals. Since all the primals have guaranteed drop rate weapons except Ramuh, I think they should boost Ramuh up to where all the other primals are.

Work??? You mean RNG... and having to go against RNG is never a good. I much prefer it this way. If you can gather 8 people to beat her, then thats more then enough to get a decent reward.

    No you don't.

Until Garuda, 1.0 primals gave you dark matter whenever a weapon didn't drop.

Dark Matter is not fun or challenging.

And for me, fun or challenging isn't a 100% drop rate for the various loots. Something should keep me wanting to go back into fights.

    *shrugs* Different strokes, yo.

Everything about Ramuh's drops was completely messed up from the get go. That primal never had a chance to be relevant.

I said the same thing. This wasn't true of all people but by the time Ramuh came along everything he dropped was obsolete. For me personally, the casting ring provided the exact same theoretical DPS of my HA ring (which hadn't actually dropped yet in the 5+ months we had t6 on farm) so I took it and just made the accuracy up somewhere else. The problem was having the gear there felt like sort of a "in case you can't or don't do coil, here's some comparable gear" didn't make sense either as Ramuh was just too hard of a fight for the general player to do it anyways. Everything about Ramuh didn't make sense to me and as a result, I spent as much time on it as it took to get our group to put it on farm mode. So maybe a couple hours spread out over 2-3 different days and then never touched it again. There was no reason to.
