Just the same way someone can get arrested for feeding the homeless. Silly rules and lack of judgement by the mods. I've been banned before for a rule I didn't know should even be a rule. It's a backwards system.

naming and shaming is totally unrelated to the core of the message. Wether it is bot report or insults or anything, it has nothing to do on the forum. Such are the rules you are to follow. The names are reserved to the reports. Thus, every name has to be blanked out of screens, videos and stuff you post on the forum unless it's clear that there is no name shaming possible.

I take it you do not understand how SE works about bots.

SE isn't staying idle.

That said, how do they work ?

They analyze the bots, go to the root, and see what to do. If it's a player bot, it will be banned along with the main account. Those that you see staying in place for months are RMT bots. For these, SE tries to go down to the main accounts of the RMT to ban them all at once, leaving the RMTs with nothing at all.

If they were banning the farm bots, it would be useless. the RMTs would just create more with their profits. If you ban the sellers' accounts, they can't make profits anymore.
