Calling all Saronian's!

Where is everybody? I mean, I see people online everyday. I see plenty of different LS flags running around. I have even applied to several LSs (the ones that are recruiting) and then /tell the leaders. But all that gets me is silence...

Did I pick the wrong world? Am I on a server full of bots? Everyone on our server can't be this closed off/mean/antisocial.

Are there any LS's on Saronia that are recruiting lower level? I am Rank 16 ARC (with several others at 10+). I can come to you. Where ever you are. It gives me a chance to see the rest of the world! I am currently in Gridania, but that is just because that is where I started and I know the area.

Have you been to Ul'dah yet? If not, and if you cannot find anyone to teleport you, I'd highly recommend following the path all the way south out of the Black Shroud, enter Thanalan, and continue following the path to Ul'dah.

Despite the changes in patch 1.18, Ul'dah is still the place where most people gather and you are more likely to find people to interact with there.

Actually, I found a great LS. And thank you for the advice. I went to Ul'dah and man... it's a whole different game there. People everywhere. Always someone willing to talk, or help or give advice. It's how I remember FFXI being when I played. I was on the brink of putting the game on the back burner when I met my LS. They are awesome. Thank you for the help!

A lot of people chat within their Linkshells, which is probably why it seems so quiet.

In Ul'dah, probably the 2 best places to be for chance encounters are:

- A bit east of the Aetheryte, where the Firefall Faire NPC stand is currently located.

- Near the repair NPC next to the Chocobo stand. But this area tends to be a bit more quiet since many people are busy crafting and perhaps not paying attention to their computer screens very much -- watching TV on the side, maybe?

I am still realtively new, but I joined Aces Wild! LS. The guys I run with now are cool. I can let them know you looking and one of our Leaders will probably find you and chat to you. It will be up to them from there. Best I can do, but I will put in a good word!
